MISSION
As a photographer, my mission is simple. I want to create images that make you feel something, and I want to capture the essence of your day.
When the day has passed, all you will have left is your memories and these photos to reminisce. Each and every photo will serve as a souvenir. A gentle reminder of what you felt inside moments before you walked down the aisle. Perhaps the photos will remind you of the overwhelming love you were encompassed with when everyone you loved most were at the same place at the same time, surrounding you on the dance floor. This is a moment that will never happen again. This same exact group of people may never be gathered all together again.
All you need to do is be as present as possible and soak in as much of the moments as you can, and let me capture this historic day for you.
Hi, I'm Rachel
PHOTOGRAPHER
I've been photographing weddings since 2012 and haven't looked back since! I went to college in Indiana where I met my now husband in a print making class, and graduated with a BS in Photography.
Illinois is my home, and I share it with my husband (who did I mention is my second shooter for the majority of weddings I shoot!?), our beautiful baby boy, Rafa, and our African basenji, Kashmir. I'm into spending time with the people I love, trying new food, true crime, and the outdoors.
I want to capture everything. When I say everything, I mean it. I'm pretty much looking through my view finder the entire day so I won't miss a beat. I'm on the look out for your mom crying, your grandma twerking, and your brother in law bringing out a box of pizza to pass around on the dance floor (true story).
